We often talk about the differences in moral values between liberals and conservatives. But are there other demographic and personality-based dimensions of moral variation? We answered this question by relating demographic and personality characteristics to judgments of the morality of 2108 actions and the emotions they evoke. We discovered four dimensions of moral variation. The map below is colored by the first three.
